The ALTEC MultiMedia Library (Hellems 159) is located just east of the main entrance to Hellems. This resource library contains a large collection of foreign language audio/video tapes, dvds, magazines, newsletters as well as satellite programs (SCOLA). The AV equipment includes 15 stations with multi-standard VCRs, multi-region dvd players, and audio cassette players; 6 high speed audio tape duplicators; 1 bulk eraser and a video dubbing station. There are also 15 PC platform computers, 8 Mac G4s and 2 Interactive Video stations. The MultiMedia Library is staffed by ALTEC attendants everyday except Saturday (Hours). The attendants can checkout tapes and videos sell blank audiotapes and computer diskettes.
