Practice Sessions
Practice Makes Perfect!

ALTEC provides a number of opportunities for FLTP students to put newly acquired skills into practice:

  • The workshops are hands-on and project-based.
  • Participants receive an illustrated manual recounting all the activities they completed during the session. You must attend the workshop in order to recieve the manual. The learner manuals are the property of ALTEC and are copyrighted.
  • FLTP participants are invited to schedule optional hands-on practice sessions with the assistance of the ALTEC team.
  • ALTEC has two individual development stations, rooms 152b and 152c, equipped with computers, scanners, color printer, web cam, and headsets. 152a is a sound recording studio, devoted to recording audio materials. State-of-the-art equipment and software including ProTools and Garage Band make exciting instructional development projects possible. Participants are welcome to reserve any of these rooms to work on projects of their own. They can be reserved through the ALTEC Program Coordinator by calling 2-8224.
